MSK Education was formed in order to bring musculoskeletal examination and assessment skills to the health community in a practical and user-friendly format. Our instructional DVDs will provide you with a systematic and logical approach to the physical examination of the major joints of the body.

Dr. Janice Harvey BSc, MD, CCFP, FRCP, Dip. Sport Med.
Dr. Janice Harvey is a Family Physician with training in Sports Medicine at McMaster University and is concurrently an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Family Medicine there . Dr. Harvey is the past Chair of the CME/CPD Committee of the Ontario College of Family Physicians and is currently an Associate Director of CPD at the College of Family Physicians of Canada. She has abundant national and international experience, including being a member of the medical team for the Commonwealth Games '94 and the Chief Medical Officer of the World University Games - Italy '97, and the World Cycling Championships in 2004.
Dr. Harvey was appointed as the Canadian Delegate to the World University Sport Federation - FISU '00 to present. She is a graduate of the McMaster Contemporary Medical Acupuncture Program '99 and a graduate of the UCLA Acupuncture Course for Physicians (2000). Dr. Harvey is also the past president of the Canadian Academy of Sport and Exercise Medicine and past chair of the Ontario Medical Association Sports Medicine Executive.

Michelle Acorn is both a Primary and Acute Care Nurse Practitioner at Lakeridge Health (Durham Region), with clinical expertise in Emergency, Hospitalist, Post Acute Care/Complex Continuing Care (Geriatrics, Palliative, Chronic Disease Management).
Michelle completed a BA (Health) / BScN with a Primary Health Care Nurse Practitioner Certificate at York University and also holds a Master of Nursing and Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Certificate at the University of Toronto. Michelle possesses Emergency, Geriatrics and Anticoagulation Provider Certifications. She is cross appointed as an Associate Professor with the Ontario University Institute of Technology and instructs for the COUPN NP Program and Ryerson University
